Spring time is LAN time!
As we enter Spring and my time living at Casa Matt y Sam is growing shorter, the decision has been made to host a sequal to the popular Yay Jesus! LAN party that we held around Easter last year. The sequal, Yay Jesus! LAN 2005, is set to begin on Friday the 25th. We're looking at a similar crowd, maybe ten or eleven people (which is no small gathering for a house the size of ours), but the catch will be that we have over forty hours of gaming planned, more than twice that of any pervious LAN party.
I'm quite looking forward to it, but a bit of UT the other night reminded me just how rusty I am. I guess it's time to bust out my Call of Duty discs and get crackin'.
The upside is that, for a change, my computer is up to snuff what with my latest video card swap. I'm still working with my ageing 19" CRT, but a cheap 17" replacement will probably be purchased beforehand just so I have a crisp display for the party. I'll still be looking at upgrading to a 19" LCD within a few months.
